The Guest Lecture on Recent Trends in Industrial Automation in Manufacturing Industries had been organized by the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering on 09-08-2024, Friday from 10.00 AM to11.30 AM to nurture the knowledge of the budding Engineers as well as Faculty Fraternity. The speaker of the day was Mr. P. Radha Krishnan, Deputy General Manager-WED, Delphi-TVS, and Chennai. He had more than 25 years of experience in Industry field. With the blessings of almighty the meeting had been exactly started at the said time with almost 160 participants. The meeting had been presided by Prof. Dr.N.Mani, Head of the Department with welcome address followed by the speaker of the day Mr. P.Radha Krishnan. He had given detail information about the current trends in the modern industry world starting from scratch to high end. The speaker clearly explains the applications of automation available in current scenario as well as its benefits with video presentation. He had given a clear picture about the future scope of Automation Industry for the students and about the ongoing projects in the current scenario with lucrative examples. This information is very useful for student fraternity to inculcate their knowledge in research field and to come out with bright colours in future. There had been a questionnaire section in which almost 20 questions had been answered by the speaker patiently. The participants were very much enthusiastic and they had garner more information than what they had expected which had been reflected by their feedbacks. Finally the vote of thanks was given by the co-ordinator, Mr.V.Pandyaraj. By the end the Guest Lecture ended with the grant success.
